Daily Reading and Discussion
We ask that your child read for 20 or more minutes each day at home. This can include parents reading aloud to their children, a child reading aloud, a child reading independently, as well as reading books in languages other than English. After reading, please discuss the reading with your child. Discussing a book with your child will help to develop better comprehension skills, which will improve learning across all subject areas.
Unit of Study
Occasionally, your child may be asked to complete a small task at home related to the current Unit of Study which will support the learning happening in the classroom.
